Imola Circuit

Imola Circuit

It's 50 years old for the records, but the Imola Motor Racing Circuit is young and strong at heart, at the peak of its potential, and not just in a racing sense.

Born from the enthusiasm of four passion from Imola on the Santerno hills, the first Formula One race, although not included in the championship, was held there in 1963, with the legendary Jim Clark unbeatable by the competitors.

Dedicated to the memory of Enzo and his son Dino Ferrari, since 1980 the racing circuit has hosted the World Formula One Championship, initially as the Italian Grand Prix, then as the San Marino Grand Prix, together with the World Motorcycle Championship and the World Superbike Championship.

The motor racing circuit is now a multifunctional structure, used for a range of purposes from tourist visits to driving courses, company conventions, the presentation of new products and international level events such as the world cycling championships, mega-concerts such as the Heineken Jammin’ Festival and exhibitions such as the "Mostra Scambio", now the number one favourite second-hand car fair in the world among vintage car enthusiasts.

Access: Only upon arrangement. For Groups visit of the box and paddock area, control tower and tour of the racetrack. There is the possibility to attend fast driving courses for 20-25 people group in Porche, Mercedes or Audi, held by professional teachers.
