Misano Adriatico (RN) - located close to the beaches of the Romagna Riviera, the iconic racetrack loved by the motorcycle enthusiasts
The Misano racetrack was designed in 1969 (3,488 meters) and has always been managed by private companies. After three years of its planning, sport activity began. At the edge of the track, there were only small open boxes and a building used exclusively by the services. At the beginning of the 1990s, a restructuring program started, which in successive phases guaranteed the availability of an increasingly efficient system.
After the death at Sepang of the popular 'Sic' (Marco Simoncelli), who started his motorcycle career in Misano, in 2012 the circuit took on the new name: 'Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli'.
At the end of 2014, the plant added a new proposal for motor enthusiasts with the Flat Track MWC Arena, a non-asphalted track. The Arena hosts national and international competitions and is home to many training camps for the world championship.
At the beginning of 2015, the MWC track took on a modular appearance and the 4226 mt of the circuit now offers the possibility of proposing two new versions of the circuit to satisfy further sporting and commercial needs.
Now Misano World Circuit offers an unparalleled overall offer. The ideal place to attend motoring events, test your driving skills in the many "open days" and catchy locations for incentives or corporate events!
